The SAFETI project is led by the CERIB Fire Testing Centre and is conducted with three main partners. Each participant in the project contributes its own skills to attain the goals set and benefit from the results obtained while partaking in the common good.

Project backers:

  • CERIB Fire Testing Centre (project coordinator, accountable to ADEME)
  • CRUARD
  • GTFI
  • I2M – University of Bordeaux

The fire-resistance laboratory CERIB created in 2008 is approved by the French Ministry of the Interior. It conducts different kinds of tests, i.e. standard tests and tests defined case-by-case in accordance with engineering studies and requirements (fire venting, fire growth, structural analysis for fire events).

The laboratory’s equipment is suitable for multiple-scale testing on materials, products, and components of structures and engineering works.
