The Fire Testing Centre was in Amsterdam on Thursday, 7 November, 2024, for the annual Built by Nature Summit. The Fire Testing Centre’s Deputy Director, Fabienne Robert, presented the SAFETI project at the ‘Networks@work: Impact stories’ session.

The SAFETI project was selected for funding under the ‘Support for Innovation in Construction with French Geo-Based and Bio-Based Timber Materials, 2030’ call for projects issued by France’s Environment and Energy Management Agency, ADEME. It is co-financed by Built by Nature. The SAFETI project’s goal is to develop timber solutions optimized to withstand fire that fully meet the safety requirements of occupants and emergency services and safeguard property to the greatest possible extent.
